The below information states the terms and conditions of the Refer a Friend scheme provided by DA Languages.
To make a referral that is eligible for the one-off payment, you must have successfully completed six face-to-face appointments*, or 175 video interpreting minutes*, or 500 telephone interpreting minutes* or 1,300 translated words* with DA Languages.
Before making a referral you must have gained consent from the person you are referring.

Referrals will only be eligible if the person being referred has never worked with DA Languages as an interpreter in any capacity – this includes if they have started their registration process with DA Languages, or have been referred already by another individual.
Referred individuals will need to meet the qualification/experience standards as non-referred interpreters. There is no guarantee that a referred individual will be suitable for work with DA Languages
An extra payment of £100 will be paid to the referrer when the referred interpreter has completed:
The payment will be made to the referrer within two months of the referred interpreter meeting their job completion threshold.
The payment of £100 is a one-off payment and is non-transferable.
The payment is capped at £100 per successfully referred interpreter.
Only succesfully completed work for DA Languages will count towards the referred individual’s threshold. Appointments where there is evidence that the code of contact has not been follwed (eg client complaints) will be disqualified.
Should the referrer be deregistered for any reason before the payment date, they forfeit eligibility for the one-off payment.
Please note, this does not affect standard rates.
*A combination of these service lines will also be accepted (eg. three face-to-face appointments and 250 telephone interpreting minutes)
