In the latest contract news from DA Languages, we’re delighted to have been awarded the contract to provide interpretation and translation services to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary and Thames Valley Police.
DA Languages will be supporting police officers and staff by reducing language barriers in all engagement with limited and non-English speakers (including BSL) through remote interpreting (telephone and video), face-to-face interpreting and written translation services wherever needed.
Thames Valley Police covers 12 local policing areas across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire while Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary provides policing services to the people of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Matthew Taylor, managing director at DA Languages comments: “We’re delighted to be supporting the Hampshire Constabulary and Thames Valley Police and their local communities with language service support. Clear, straightforward communication is essential in policing and DA Languages will be working closely with these police forces wherever language services are required.”
DA Languages has also recently been awarded the first ever LSP contract for the five forces of the South West police region, covering Dorset Police, Gloucestershire Constabulary, Wiltshire Police, Avon & Somerset Police and Devon & Cornwall Police.
