The below information states the terms and conditions of the telephone interpreting event “DA’s Magic May” that DA Languages is running in May 2022 for select telephone interpreters.
Interpreters who increase the number of successful telephone interpreting minutes completed on behalf of DA Languages in May 2022, in comparison to their personal average in Feb-April 2022, by at least 150 minutes will be given a one-off cash payment of £15.
The extra payment is capped at £15 per linguist; there is no additional payment for any minutes completed over the 150 minute threshold.
This scheme lasts from 00:01am on Sunday May 1st to 11.59pm on Tuesday May 31st.
This scheme is only applicable to linguists registered with DA Languages who have been explicitly informed via email of their eligibility on Wednesday 26th April 2022 or explicitly invited via email by an authorised representative of DA Languages.
Interpreters’ monthly call volume increase for May will be calculated throughout June and qualifying interpreters will be paid their one-off cash payment alongside the usual May payment run on Thursday 30th June.
If an interpreter does not wish to be included in this scheme they should inform firstname.lastname@example.org via email no later than 11.59pm on Tuesday May 31st.
The one-off payment is non-transferable.
Please note only completed, connected calls will count towards your minute volume and any calls where there is evidence that the code of conduct has not been followed (eg client complaints) will be disqualified and not count towards your increase.
Should a linguist be deregistered for any reason before the payment date, they forfeit eligibility for the one-off payment.
