Due to expansion we are looking for a Linguist Recruitment Manager to recruit talented linguists to work for our growing organisation. You will also be responsible for managing the recruitment team and supporting the growth of the business strategy. The position requires a proactive attitude, commercial sense and the ability to build lasting internal and external relationships.

About the Role
Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
Start date: ASAP

Main Duties Include
• Recruit translators, proof readers and other linguistic experts to expand our database • Linguist Champion driving both internal and freelance linguist experience • Coordination of linguist recruitment strategy managing the entire recruitment cycle of incoming freelance applications from testing to reference checks prior to bringing them on board • Mentoring, coaching and motivating the existing recruitment team • Work closely with Management and the Operations teams to support recruitment needs, offering consultancy on timeframes and resources • Improve recruitment delivery into the business • Monitor performance of our resources and provide feedback where required • Identify resource gaps and proactively recruit subject-specialists to expand our talent pool • Conduct regular key account reviews with Management to ensure availability and retention of key resources at competitive rates • Provide timely KPI reports
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience of working in a fast paced internal and external recruitment role • Relationship Management – establishing, sustaining and leveraging strong, influential, on-going customer relationships up to and including senior leadership level • Resilient in approach and able to influence across business area to deliver the most effective solution • Excellent Communication – effective internal and external communication, negotiation and supportive feedback skills, credible at all levels • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and hiring managers to drive change and best practice across an organisation • A creative approach to recruitment challenges • An appreciation of the value of stakeholder relationships and the ability to build them effectively • Excellent organisation skills and ability to multi-task • Ability to build and maintain relationships in a professional manner • Commercial mindset • Quality focused with a keen eye for detail • Good IT literacy and excellent MS Office skills • Previous experience in recruitment (ideally in the translation industry) • Experience in translation project coordination/management would be an advantage.
