So what exactly do we do? 

We offer language services to organisations within the public and private sector.

So what does that mean? Imagine if you couldn’t speak English but needed to go to a hospital appointment, you wouldn’t be able to access this service unless someone attends with you to interpret between you and the doctor.

That’s where we come in… the hospital would contact us and ask for an interpreter. We would then contact the right interpreter for the job and send them to that appointment.

We offer face to face interpreting, video interpreting and telephone interpreting for this scenario, so that appointments can be delivered on site or remotely.

As well as this, we offer translation, so if there is any written correspondence we will translate that into the right language too.

The basics…

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £30,000 per annum

 

Purpose of the role

Due to our ongoing growth, we’re looking for a Learning and Development Trainer to join our Business to help create, deliver and manage and Learning and Development curriculum within the business.

This will be a new role within DA Languages, so the successful candidate will be able to grow and shape the department from the very start.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (such as operational areas) to create a plan for learning and development without our business.
  • Create, deploy, deliver and manage an L&D curriculum and programmes for all employees. This could include on-boarding programmes, annual training or department specific training
  • Create, deploy, deliver and manage a Manager Development Programme to help upskill managers within the business
  • Produce training material, in line with the companies brand for in-house courses and programmes
  • Delivery of engaging and effective training sessions
  • Develop and track a set of L&D development KPIs to underpin and measure the success of the L&D programme
  • Continuously develop L&D as a vital function within our business in helping to drive the success
  • Capture feedback from employees on the L&D programme to identify where further improvements can be made
  • Ensure that learning outcomes are embedded within the business

Skills/Knowledge/Behaviours

  • 5 years experience in a Learning and Development Role and working alongside Senior Management
  • Learning & development qualification desirable
  • Ability to think on their feet, adapting well to the exciting changes working for a fast growing company
  • Positive, proactive attitude and the ability to engage with teams effectively
  • Resilience with the ability to work flexibly
  • MS Office Skills
