DA Languages are finalists in THREE categories!

We’re hugely proud to be taking part again. This years awards have been expanded from the North West to the North of England, so its an extra special acheivement to be finalists for all three categories we were nominated for.

Finalists and Categories

In 2017 we were named finalists in the Patient Experience, Innovation and Acute Hospital Sector categories. Following this, we are very pleased to announce that in 2018, DA Languages Ltd. are shortlisted as finalists in three categories! These are:

Small Business:

This award is open to Small Medium Enterprises (SME’s) as defined by the European Commission. To win this award, the supplier must demonstrate how they have maintained consistent growth and strong financial performance, whilst making a significant contribution to the Trust(s) they supply to.

DA Languages has experienced a remarkable amount of growth in the last 3 years in particular. In 2007, DAL had 3 employees, currently in 2018 we have a team of 60 people. Since 2015, we have increased our employee total by 140%.

Non-Clinical Innovation:

Working either as a standalone business or with other organisations, suppliers should demonstrate how their company has utilised innovation to improve a product, create a new idea, method, technology, process, application or service that has transformed or enhanced patient care and improved efficiency within Northern Trusts.

DA Languages were selected as we  promote the convenience and cost saving benefits of transitioning face-to-face to telephone interpreting wherever suitable. We consistently and proactively look at ways we can save the NHS money, rather than always focused on profit.

Support Services Sector:

This award is aimed at companies who provide support to the NHS in order to help maintain the quality of service.

We use data obtained through our secure client booking portal to highlight areas of wasted spend and investigate initiatives that can improve the workflow. This highlights the partnership approach we take, trying to develop our role as a supplier.

A big year for DA Languages

The last year has been a remarkable one for DA Languages! Culminating in the company receiving a large private investment. There have been a number of staff hires in all areas. We’ve expanded our bookings, recruitment and translation teams, please read about our current openings here!

We’ve secured new contracts and will be expanding further into the private translation and localisation markets in the next year! Stay tuned to see how we perform in the awards taking place in October!
