Face-to-face £50 additional payment initiative: terms and conditions

The below information states the terms and conditions of the face-to-face £50 additional payment initiative provided by DA Languages, whereby new linguists who complete 5 face-to-face appointments within 1 month of their approval date will receive a £50 additional payment.

Participation criteria

All linguists who have not completed their first face-to-face appointment and who are advised by DA Languages that they are eligible will
meet the criteria to receive the additional payment. To qualify for the payment, the 5 face-to-face appointments must take place within 1 month. Cancelled appointments will not count towards the 5 appointments.

Reward

Once the linguist completes their 5 face-to-face jobs, they will automatically receive the additional payment. An extra payment of £50 will
be paid to the linguist at the same time as their next payment from DA Languages, at the end of the following month. Note that the £50 will not be visible in the linguist’s DA Link remittance page immediately following completion of the 5^th job but will be added to the remittance in advance of the payment date.

Exception

Only successfully completed face-to-face appointments for DA Languages will count towards the individual’s threshold. Appointments where there is evidence that the code of contact has not been followed (eg client complaints) will be disqualified.

Should the linguist be deregistered for any reason before the payment date, they forfeit eligibility for the one-off payment. 

Please note, this does not affect standard rates. The payment is not exchangeable. DA Languages reserves the right to cancel this initiative at any time. If you, a linguist, do not want to receive the additional payment for any reason, please notify DA Languages.
