We are always looking for opportunities to help anyone new to interpreting, as well as the chance for experienced linguists to further hone their expertise through continuing professional development.
Our Community Interpreting course is a one day event with a structured curriculum. Modules covered include the Interpreter Code of Ethics, Home Visits, Hospital and Clinic Appointments, Mental Health Guidelines, Safeguarding of Children and Adults and PACE (Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984) interview interpreting.
We will be conducting further training sessions exclusively for DA Languages linguists across the UK and you will receive a notification if you are close by!

A £20 reward will be added to the remittance of any linguist who refers a new linguist to DA Languages.
In order for you to be rewarded, the referred linguist must meet the following requirements:
- They must never have been previously registered with DA Languages
- Speaks one of the languages within the areas that the scheme covers
- Has a valid Enhanced DBS certificate or is willing to apply for one as part of the registration process
- Fully completes the registration form
- Completes 5 face-to-face interpreting bookings (completed job sheets to be provided)
