Well, what an interesting twelve weeks we’ve just had! Phew!

Now, we’re no strangers to growth – we’ve been steadily gaining new clients, new staff and new business for years – but in just twelve weeks, we’ve experienced significant growth!

Perhaps it’s something in the air? It is Spring after all…but with the seasonal changes in full swing and after a lot of patience (and plenty more hard work), we’re blossoming once again.

If you’ve been keeping your ear to the ground (particularly if you’re an interpreter), you may have heard the news about one of our competitors. While it’s certainly sad news for many, it has presented new and exciting opportunities for us to undertake.

In this case, the recent developments in March have kept us quite busy, to say the least! From Recruitment to Client Management, Bookings to Interpreting, our fantastic internal staff and dedicated linguists have been nothing short of incredible (although honestly, they always are).

It’s been a time of intense change, but it’s clear to see that the hard work is paying off.

“So”, you may ask, “what have you been doing?”

If you’ve been working with us, that question should hopefully answer itself. However, if you were following our blogs (or perhaps you’re a casual observer), you may have noticed we’ve been a little quiet, at least on the face of things. However, that’s all about to change.

While the aforementioned fallout was responsible for our relative silence, we’ve been far from quiet behind the scenes. At last, we’re ready to tell you what we’ve been up to.

Our aim has always been to minimise client frustration and prevent interruption during this unexpectedly challenging time.

We can’t say enough about how great our staff have been in helping the agency fulfil this aim.

They’ve stepped up to provide our services for some truly exciting contracts, with some of these picked up on very short notice! All teams at DA Languages have worked hard to deliver on our promise of a consistently quality service for all clients: old and new.

These clients range from Councils as far away as Scotland, but we’re also working with NHS Trusts in the South of London. That’s not just for face-to-face interpreting either; our Translation and Telephone Interpreting services are also being utilised. There’s no doubt it’s been a very busy time for all of our services.

We’ve welcomed over seven new clients, all starting within the last 12 weeks! With more waiting just around the corner, it’s safe to say we’ll be keeping ourselves quite busy.

We have our Client Management and Recruitment Teams to thank for that; they’ve done an exceptional job getting everyone on board and up-to-date; whether that’s new clients, new staff, or new linguists. By pulling together, as well as bolstering our ranks with new talent, we’ve increased our productivity and successfully kept the day-to-day business running smoothly.

Spring to Summer

The growth isn’t going to stop there either. Very much like tending a garden, we’ll be taking care of our client’s needs and nurturing our business alongside them. Positive feedback is great, but we’re also learning from our experiences. Ultimately, we are working to ensure that our growth is managed effectively and that all aspects of our business are guided to develop in the right direction.

The best results we’ve had in recent months have come as part of a collaborative effort between clients, linguists, and staff, all working together.

As we move from Spring to Summer, we’ll be working closer than ever with all of these teams to nurture stability; who knows where we’ll be in twelve weeks more!
